What does Always Safe offer?

 

  • Always Safe offers long term (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) home inspection plans, which include complete exterior and interior inspections of your home, a dated, detailed report and photos of the property.  Long term inspection checks include but are not limited too...

 

    • Check overall appearance of residence and property.
    • Check for forced entry and vandalism on the property.
    • Check/secure doors and windows.
    • Check and secure all boats/PWCs.
    • Check all utilities - electric, water, gas, etc.
    • Flush toilets and run water in sinks and showers.
    • Check for any damages including broken water pipes, water leaks, gas leaks, dock and yard damage, etc.
    • Check for bug and rodent infestation.
    • Check for storm damage.
    • Check smoke detectors.
    • Check security system.
    • Check/start vehicles and boats as requested.
    • Check to see if property needs any services completed (Ex: pool needs water added, grass needs mowed, etc.)
    • Water house plants as requested.
    • Monitor and control heat/AC as requested.
    • Bring mail and newspapers into house as requested.
    • Check irrigation systems as requested.
    • Check personal items as requested.
    • Alternating lights on and off to give the “lived in” look.
    • And much, much more to meet your home ownership needs!

 

**We realize that every homeowner is different and may have other home inspection needs.  If this is the case, let us know and we will gladly include those checks into the scheduled inspections** 

 

  • Always Safe offers short term (daily or weekly) home inspection plans, which include complete exterior and interior inspections of your home, a dated detailed report and a photo of the property.  Short term plans are intended for those people who are out of town on a business trip or much needed vacation.  For this reason, short term plans are only available for a maximum of two weeks.  Short term checks include but are not limited too...

 

    • Check overall appearance of residence and property.
    • Check for forced entry and vandalism on the property.

    • Water house plants as requested.
    • Monitor and control heat/AC as requested.
    • Bring mail and newspapers into house as requested.
    • Check irrigation systems as requested.
    • Check personal items as requested.
    • And much, much more to meet you home ownership needs!

 

  • Always Safe also offers many more services to our long and short term contract customers at a nominal fee:

 

    • Bi-monthly house cleaning for your unattended vacation home including vacuuming, dusting, wiping down counters and appliances, etc. ($20 minimum, {includes the first hour} $15 for each additional hour).
    • Set up services and oversee property while services are being completed. (ex: pool company, gardener, repairman, plumber, etc.) ($20 minimum, {includes the first hour} $15 for each additional hour).
    • Grocery/refrigerator and alcohol stocking before you arrive at.  (Please submit grocery/alcohol list at least 48 hours prior to your arrival) ($20 minimum, {includes the first hour} $15 for each additional hour).
    • Pre-vacation service - includes light cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, wipe down, deodorize, etc.), check all appliances and utilities, make sure light fixtures and lamps work, turn on lights, set AC/heat to desired temperature as requested.  ($20 minimum, {includes the first hour} $15 for each additional hour).
    • Post-vacation services – includes light cleaning (vacuuming, wipe down, trash removal, refrigerator clean out), lights off, AC/heat adjusted, secure doors and windows. ($20 minimum, {includes the first hour} $15 for each additional hour).
    • Driveway, deck, and house power washing, ($50 per hour).
    • Basic window washing, gutter and downspout cleaning, light yard work, light tree work, leaf removal and snow removal. ($30 minimum, {includes the first hour} $25 for each additional hour).
    • Mail forwarding services. ($10 per mail forward plus cost of postage).
    • Winterization and de-winterization services. (fees vary depending on home size).
    • Pet services available on a short term basis only – included is feeding, watering, cleaning up inside mess, putting pet outside, etc. (fees depend on number of pets, location and number of visits required per day, basic price is $15 per visit).
    • Anytime night or day, if you need a key holder to go to your house for a security alarm call or any type of emergency services we will meet your needs. (Price is $25 for a call out, {includes the first hour} $15 for each additional hour).
    • Bill pay – Always Safe will write a check for those minor bills you forgot to pay before leaving on vacation or the bill you left lying around the lake house after you went home.  (Not applicable to new customers, customer must have a good payment history and be a reliable customer!!  Bill pay is also available to customers who have prepaid their account in advance) (Service charge is 10% of total bill).
    • Do you have a special request?  We will do anything we can to meet your needs.  If we can’t do it, I bet we have someone in mind that could.  Just ask!

 

*Please note that if two or more services are requested on the same visit, the minimum charges for the second and subsequent services will be dropped and the customer will only be billed for the additional time required to complete the subsequent services*
